Collection: Jorge Castillo

Jorge José Castillo Casalderrey (born June 16, 1933) is a Spanish painter and sculptor.

For most of his childhood he lived with his family in Argentina. Since 1962 he has lived in Barcelona and New York.

Castillo greatly admired Pablo Picasso, and that influence can be seen in his paintings, engravings and lithographs.

His steel sculpture Homage to the Cyclist is located in the Plaza de Sants in Barcelona.
