Alfons Borrell y Palazón (Barcelona, June 3, 1931-Sabadell, October 6, 2020)1 was a Spanish abstract painter.
In 1969 he joined, with Antoni Angle, Llorenç Balsach y Grau, Joan Josep Bermúdez, Manuel Duque, José Llorens, Joaquim Montserrat and Luis Vila Plana, following the movement of Action painting, the Gallot Group, which carried out several actions in the street, in Sabadell and in Barcelona. Invited by the art critic Alexandre Cirici Pellicer, he participated in the inaugural exhibition of the first Museum of Contemporary Art in Barcelona, in the dome of the Cine Coliseum
