Alfonso Mena Pacheco (Mexico City, 1961) is a Mexican artist. His work, which includes drawing, oil painting and object art, among other expressions, is framed within abstract art and expressionism and the use of very diverse pictorial materials and supports.

According to critic Raquel Tibol, Mena's work is an "expressionist, emotional and abstract painting" conditioned by "lyrical abstraction developed with its own technique, spirit and poetic accent." In addition to other aspects, Teresa del Conde highlighted the talent in the design of Mena5's works and mentioned him as an outstanding abstract painter after the Breakup Generation.
