Collection: Antonio Marcoida

He was born in Madrid in 1941. He was a Spanish painter and printmaker.

During his training, Marcoida received a scholarship from the French Government and the Juan March Foundation to carry out further studies.

He was a professor for several decades at the School of Fine Arts in Madrid and was recognized as one of the most prestigious engravers of the seventies.

Among his numerous awards, those awarded at the National Exhibition of Engraving of the Museum of Contemporary Art, the XVII Salon of Engraving and the National Exhibition of Fine Arts stand out. He received the Carmen Arocena national award.
