Belén Elorrieta

Born in Madrid in 1962, Graduated in Fine Arts from the University of Madrid in 1980/85. She belonged to the El Escorial School of Painting, founded by the painter and academic Luis García Ochoa.

Among the awarded Competitions, it is worth highlighting the First Prize XIV Black and White; Medal in the VIII BMW Contest and Post Office stamp in 2006 with a reproduction of the original painting.

Apart from oil, watercolor, Indian ink and gouache, I also approach the world of engraving, making lithographs and linoleums. The lithographs explain the theme with a small number of transparent colors that overlap and are accompanied by a subtle line. He has been working with the El Taller del Prado Editorial since 2003 until today.
