Collection: Carlos Morago

Born in 1954 in Madrid, Spain, Carlos Morago is a painter. He studied at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts of Saint Elizabeth of Hungary. His work consists of nature or hyperrealistic interiors. He began exhibiting in 1980 at El Ferro.

He positions himself in the line of romanticism for his paintings full of softness and simplicity. Any human reference is excluded from his compositions, allowing him to dedicate himself solely to vegetation. With contemporary still lifes, he renews this genre giving it a certain freshness. It highlights a solitude, comforting and diffuse, that invites contemplation. His works are today present throughout the world.
