Collection: Ceesepe

Carlos Sánchez Pérez, artistically Ceesepe (Madrid, May 31, 1958-Ib., September 7, 2018), was a Spanish painter and illustrator. A prolific author, especially in drawings and collages, his style can be classified as pop art. Considered one of the protagonists of the Madrid scene, his stage name is an acronym formed by the initials of his first name and his two surnames: C: ce, S: ese, P: pe = "Ceesepe."

In 2011 he received the Gold Medal for merit in Fine Arts in Spain.
