Dennis Oppenheim

Dennis Oppenheim (Electric City, Washington, September 6, 1938-New York, January 21, 2011) was an American graphic artist and sculptor.

He was one of the leading contemporary artists on the international scene. Oppenheim's work is present in more than 70 major museums, collections and public spaces around the world.

Among his individual exhibitions, the one at the Kunsthalle in Basel (1979) and the Kunstbunker Tumulka, Munich (1995) can be highlighted. He participated in the V and VI editions of the Kassel Documenta.
