Collection: Din Matamoro

Eduardo Manuel Matamoro Irago, known artistically as Din Matamoro (Vigo, 1958) is a Spanish painter.

In the first half of the 80s, he attracted attention for the ease of his drawings, dominated by an expressive character and a marked sense of rhythm. Later came paintings where the matter was gathered from a multitude of elements, created in different superimposed layers. Stays in New York and Rome introduced new concepts: an ironic vision of his craft, an appreciation of the fragmentary and icons close to comics or graffiti.
