Manuel Rivera Hernández (Granada, April 23, 1927 - Madrid, January 2, 1995) was a Spanish painter, founding member of the El Paso Group.

During his training period, Rivera's paintings were mostly figurative; however, his paintings pointed to a break with the traditional form, from which he would soon distance himself.
