Collection: Mimmo Paladino

Domenico Paladino (b. Paduli, near Benevento, December 18, 1948) is an Italian painter and sculptor, one of the main exponents of the transavant-garde, a movement founded by Achille Bonito Oliva in 1980 that is characterized by a return to painting, after the various conceptual and minimalist currents that developed in the seventies.

His works are permanently exhibited in some of the main international museums, including the Metropolitan Museum of Art and the Guggenheim in New York, the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, the Detroit Institute of Arts, the Tate and the Royal Academy in London, at the Irish Museum of Modern Art in Dublin, at the MACBA in Barcelona, ​​the Kiasma in Helsinki, at the Palazzo delle Arti in Naples and the MOCA in Shanghai. Lately, a show has been held in Lima in the Luis Miró Quesasa Garland room with 28 of his works.
