Ricardo Sanz (San Sebastián, 1957- ) is a Spanish portrait and landscape painter. He is considered an exponent of Luminism in the tradition of Sorolla, although his work also reflects influences from the classics and other renowned portrait painters such as John Singer Sargent.

His pictorial work includes important portraits, among others, of the Spanish Royal Family, as well as presidents of the Congress of Deputies and the Basque Parliament. He has obtained the National Living Culture Award, the Goya Foundation Award and the Paul Harris Medal awarded to him by the Rotary International Foundation.
