Dix recettes d'inmortalité (Ten Recipes for Immortality) was conceived, written and illustrated by Salvador Dalí in Port Lligat, Paris and New York in 1971-1972. The text was collected and scrupulously transcribed by Robert Descharnes, who has preserved the form in full agreement with the author. Salvador Dalí designed the book, engraved 13 original drypoints and heliogravures (five in color or gilding), several of which are three-dimensional, drew the watermark on the paper, the letters and some of the illustrations that accompany the text, he calligraphed the cover and created the case's handle and locks. All of this comes inside a methacrylate box. The set comes with a sturdy case with fabric-covered wooden supports. This work was carried out under the direction of Robert Descharnesc with the assistance of Marc Audouin. Comments on the text were written by Claude Prévost.
