Antoni tàpies

Manually intervened with pencil by Antoni Tápies in the central part. This work is part of the edition of the book Nocturn Matinal, produced jointly by Antoni Tàpies and the poet Joan Brossa (1919-1998) and published by Polígrafa. This lithograph belongs, specifically, to the rehaussée (“reinforced”) suite published together with the book in a numbered and signed edition of 100 copies. In this suite, a special edition of the book's lithographs, Tàpies adds some touches to the original motifs, such as, in this case, the inclusion of the four red strokes that enhance the composition.
