Another of the powerful books in the "Casariego" collection, both for its technical capacity and for the representation of a poetic orb, is "Sonnets", by Lope de Vega, which Andrés Barajas interprets in forms of characteristic beauty. The colorist painter is here contained in a succession of infinite shades. Barajas' compositions, concurrent with the poetic world of Lope de Vega, will appear possessed of surreal fantasy: dance of eurhythmic bodies, supported by a refined technique that defines authentic engravers. His aquatints are difficult to surpass.
